The mission of GrowLocalColorado is to promote food equity, regenerative agriculture and community. They do that by growing food and donating it to food relief organizations. What started as a single vegetable garden in Denver’s Civic Center Park in 2009 is now 20 gardens producing a harvest of over 10,000 pounds.
Join them on Saturday May 24th for their planting day to start the garden that will produce this year’s harvest.
