We'll enjoy a hike on the Anemone Loop, a beautiful trail immediately west of Boulder. The 4.4 mile loop is considered moderate, gains 1,000 vertical feet, and has several noteworthy overlooks. It is generally a 2 to 3 hour hike round-trip.
Here's what AllTrails says: " Enjoy bird watching and full sun while hiking the 4.4 mile Anemone Loop Trail. This loop can be accessed either from The Peoples' Crossing Trailhead or from the Centennial Trailhead. Keep dogs on leash, and anticipate icy conditions October through April. Please remember to stay on the trail, as new regulations require a permit for off-trail travel in the surrounding Habitat Conservation Area."
