CYA Hike: Mount Galbraith Loop via Nightbird Gulch Trail

Dave Belin ’92 has organized a great late-season hike for Yalies and friends on Saturday September 24th of Mount Galbraith Loop via the Nightbird Gulch trail in Golden, considered a moderately challenging route. After you hit the high point (not the real summit) you start to descend along the south face of the mountain and are rewarded with wonderful views of Lookout Mountain, Golden, the Table Mountains, and if you look way to the west you can just make out Mount Evans popping up over the horizon. Gather at the Nightbird trailhead at 9:00 am for a 5-mile roundtrip trek through the foothills. Post-hike snacks and drinks at The Eddy. RSVP Dave: davebelin@comcast.net or 303-818-0955
